About Me

Hmmm where to begin? I'm a nineteen year old ex-college student who was fortunate enough to hear God's calling to missions. After going with my church to Romania during Christmas 09 I spent two months with the Bruskis this past summer. It was a good chance for me to get my feet wet and experience what it's like to serve people day in and day out. I flat out loved it; I did construction practically the entire time I was there and I couldn't seem to get enough of it.

Towards the end of my summer I began to feel drawn to serve there, but I wasn't quite sure what God had in mind. Mrs Robin and Caleb seemed to always be talking about the medical school in Oradea so I began to check it out. I knew that whatever I did, I wanted to create a ministry that would be self-sustaining, and becoming a doctor would certainly take care of that. I began to pray about it and after a while I felt like God had definitely put it in my heart for a reason. I was so excited when I was given the go ahead; I decided to call home and tell Mom about everything that had happened. Before I could tell her anything she began to tell me how she and my sister were talking earlier that day about how cool it would be if I became a doctor for the purpose of missions. I haven't looked back since!
