I am going to Romania with the intent of simply being Jesus to people, so that through it all they might see Christ's love for them through my actions. Originally I planned to go as a medical student as well, but I feel like it isn't necessarily a bad thing to commit my first year to soley missions. I still feel that medical school will be in the picture, just later on down the road. Because I'm going to be focusing purely on missions and outreach, my mission won't be as limited as it was when I intended to be a medical student. While I'll be doing mostly construction, I'll have many more oportunities to work with the youth as we disciple them.I'm going to be leaving on June 25 and the total cost for both living and ministry expenses is around $7-8,000 for one year. In order to raise these funds I am working full time on weekends at the Walmart Distribution Center, doing yard work during the week, and allowing God to give through others in order to meet my goal.
